Coaches
All coaches MUST wear appropriate attire while coaching, particularly while in the coaching box by the platform. Coaches are not allowed to wear hats anywhere near the competition platform. This must be USA Powerlifting related, your USA Powerlifting registered team or one of the official event sponsor logos if not a blank attire. If staff or referees determine your attire inappropriate, you will be required to change in order to continue coaching.
No problem! Make sure your new coach/handler has a current USA Powerlifting membership and a ticket to access the expo and warm-up room during your session.
Tickets can be purchased on this page: Purchase Coaches Passes
All Coaches at the Arnold must be current USA Powerlifting members to have access to any of the warm-up and backstage areas.
Coaches, there are TWO separate steps for you:
-
Arnold Expo Wristband. You will need to purchase the Coaches Expo Wristband (valid for the entire weekend). The coach pass must be picked up by the coach, who must show their ID and their current USA Powerlifting membership card at pickup. Wrist bands will be put on the coach’s wrist upon pickup.
-
Purchase your Coach’s Pass. This will get you into the warm-up room and staging area for your lifters. The Coach’s Pass is $35 per session. This pass is transferable to another coach (with a current USA Powerlifting membership) should you not be able to attend. Coach’s passes are available to purchase online and can be purchased up to the start of the weigh-in session.
Each coach must purchase a Coaches Expo Wristband and a Coach’s Pass for each session they are coaching to get into the warm-up and staging area. The cost is $50 for the Coaches Expo Wrist Band and $35 for the Coach’s Pass per session.
NOTE: All Coaches must be registered members of USA Powerlifting. Read more HERE.
